Alice Wolf is a Senior Advisor at MAC after serving Cambridge in the Massachusetts House of Representatives and as Mayor, Vice Mayor, City Councilor and School Committee Member.
During these years in elected office, Alice worked on a broad range of issues including education, civil rights, affordable housing, and equal and broad access to public services. When she was State Representative, Alice worked with MAC staff on several high priority MAC issues including special education, trauma sensitive schools, and legislation related to school discipline. She continues to bring her expertise in these areas to MAC now.
Alice is also a Fellow in the Distinguished Fellows Program at the Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy at UMass Boston.
Born in Austria, Alice came to America at the age of five with her family, fleeing the Nazi regime. She earned a B.S. from Simmons College and later an M.P.A. from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. In 2001, she received an honorary Doctor of Education degree from Wheelock College.
