What our Helpline is:

Through our Helpline, we provide guidance, resources, and referrals as needed, to families with children who are facing barriers to receiving educational support and services to which they are legally entitled. During the Helpline call:

·  The Helpline staff will collect information for the intake

·  The Helpline staff will listen to your concerns and assess the case

·  The Helpline staff will provide you with guidance, resources, and referrals as needed.

Our priorities are children with disabilities, children who have been expelled or suspended from school, English learner students, and children who have experienced racial discrimination and bullying.

Please note that we do not take cases involving housing/eviction, or custody disputes. If you need legal assistance with those issues, please look for legal services offices near you.
