Education Attorney Fellowship: Focus on Newcomer Students

Mass Advocates for Children (MAC) seeks a recent law school graduate for a Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation (MLAC) Bart Gordon Fellowship focusing on outreach, training, and advocacy to advance the education rights and education access needs of newly arrived migrant children.

Education Staff Attorney

Mass Advocates for Children (MAC) seeks an Education Staff Attorney to provide legal representation and participate in systemic advocacy in education matters related to student discipline, special education, immigrant student rights, homelessness, and the school-to-prison pipeline. The Education Staff Attorney will also participate in statewide and regional coalitions with other legal services and community organizations.

Senior Attorney

Mass Advocates for Children (MAC) seeks a Senior Attorney to provide legal representation and conduct systemic legal and policy advocacy on a range of education issues including special education, student discipline, immigrant student rights, and homelessness. The Senior Attorney will work on these issues statewide, with a focus on Boston Public Schools. The Senior Attorney will join a team of exceptional public interest attorneys and advocates working together to directly improve education equity for children and youth who have been historically marginalized.
