Kim Janey on State ELL Reform Bill

Kim Janey, member of BPS’ English Language Learner (ELL) task force and senior project director at MAC,  comments on the advancement of a State ELL reform bill; the proposed bill would bring a shift towards more flexible teaching methods to match the specific needs presented by particular students. Janey notes that children acquire English faster when taught in a bilingual program.
