Finding

(Partial) Noncompliance:

DESE accepts the corrective actions taken (providing an electronic copy) but requires further action because the parent did not receive the student’s IEP within 10 days after the Team meeting.

Corrective Action

District must review with staff its procedures for issuing IEPs to parents within the regulatory timeline. Must send the names and titles of the reviewer and participants as well as the materials provided to DESE.
