District unable to take full advantage of remote learning during 2020-21, student missed ABA and academic sessions because the district cancelled session or student was too disregulated to participate. Additionally, student missed more ABA sessions after returning to half-day in-school learning, and district did not offer any compensatory services during the Extended School Year (ESY) program.

Noncompliance:

Although District offered additional support/in-home ABA and other services consistent with DESE guidance for remote learning, District failed to provide all required ABA sessions.

Corrective Action

District must develop a compensatory services plan with the parent by 9/20. If unable to do so, the parties must submit their proposals for DESE to develop a plan.
